The 2014 Christmas Kettle Campaign was a great success for Columbia Rotary and The Salvation Army. Major Roger Coulson is proud to report that Columbia Rotary raised $35,962 during the 2014 holiday season. This total includes the kettles worked by Columbia Rotarians at Green’s, Piggly Wiggly and Bi-Lo in addition to fundraising efforts led by Past President JT within his automotive business and a personal donation from JT and his wife, Mary. Special thanks to all the Team Captains and the Bell Ringers who made this holiday season a great success. The Salvation Army raised a total of $351,887 throughout the Midlands!!
Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We’ll see you in 2015 on January 5th when Columbia Rotary will host Lance Corporal Kyle Carpenter.
Thanks to everyone who sent in their pictures of family, friends and colleagues ringing the bell for Columbia Rotary and the 2014 Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign. Look for a recap of the program after the first of the year. A million thanks to everyone who served our community “Doing The Most Good”!!
Feel free to send your bell ringing photos to firstname.lastname@example.org so they can be posted to this gallery!
The Annual Christmas Party for Columbia Rotary will be on Monday, December 9th during our usual meeting time at Seawell’s. The Hammond Ensemble will entertain us with holiday tunes and there will be plenty of time to eat and socialize with other members while we count our blessings and look forward to a great new year! Looking forward to seeing everyone at Rotary on Monday. Have a great weekend, everyone!
